A little late to the party again, seems like I am always playing catch up! However, Quince and Co just released a beautiful pattern collection, Sea Smoke, and I want to add all of the patterns to my ever increasing queue. They are each a lovely mix of modern and traditional that would make a wonderful addition to anyone’s wardrobe.

Yesterday was the final meet up of the A Verb for Keeping Warm Byway Knit-a-Long. While I am sad that this is the end of our weekly gathering, I loved every minute of it. It has been a wonderful experience to see everyone try something new, and learn together. I can only speak for myself but I feel much more confident about my knitting ability than … Read More »

I knitted as far as I dared on my own on the Byway Scarf. I reached the first cable section and decided to wait until this week’s meeting at A Verb for Keeping Warm. I’ve never successfully cabled and I would love some hand holding.
This leaves me needing a project. I … Read More »

Today was the first day of the A Verb for Keeping Warm Byway Knit-a-Long. I’m was thrilled to get out, learn a new pattern, and meet some lovely ladies.
This pattern is absolutely beautiful! In fact, lets just take a moment to appreciate how stunning Jared Flood’s new book Woolens is. I love every single project in this book. I want to work on … Read More »
